HATE STORIES ARE EVERYWHERE!!!

So much so that they are the first to grab the morning headlines.

-          That of an able IPS officer being dozed upon by mining mafia.

-          That of goons killing a common man who tried to protect a woman.

-          That of a whistle blower put permanently to rest…

It’s all there to start your day with…..

And then there’s our system that somehow just remains a lame duck in the plight of all atrocities that remain in society!!!!

All of us have in some way or the other been a witness to the kind of babudom, bureaucracy and sometimes injustice, the system goes on to vehemently endorse.

We hate it right?

So why is it that we have allowed these ‘hate’ stories to be so a much a part of our being in our societies?

Why can’t we do anything about it ?

More often than not we shirk our roles as doers rather than being mere observers. May be starting from our homes itself, we allow hate seedlings to take shape and grow in their own way in our minds, in our midst. We don’t realise but may be a small hug in the midst of heated debate between two lovers may just be enough to save a relationship… May be a little pat on the back rather than reprimand can dissuade a youngster from committing suicide….

Let’s vow to do tiny little things. Things which may not seem larger than life but can potentially make our lives larger in value…
