Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl – review
A conman gets conned was brilliantly scripted in Khosla Ka Ghosla in a hilarious way. Maneesh Sharma tries to emulate the same formula with love thrown in and by making the conman the hero. So as per mainstream Bollywood’s unwritten rules since the hero is the conman one has to make sure he is not entirely at the receiving end and then all is fair in love and con at the end. Now I hope you get the drift of the movie.
What works for the movie is Ranveer, the girl gang of conned 3, but Anushka lacks the zeal in her performance unlike the one she recreated in Baand Baaja Baaraat. (And ya, she might well add few more kgs too)
GingerChai verdict: A time pass movie that partly works coz of Ranveer and his conned girl gang of 3 – A rom-con-com!
He is the lead man of GingerChai and plays the multi role of chief author, editor, business development and also of a chaiwala! (Tea maker!) He is the master brewer at Ginger Chai.

Even if this movie were a masterpiece, I still wouldn’t watch it. ‘Cause this Ranveer person is ugly. Like plain U.G.L.Y. And not even 1% of him exudes class.
