Cell phones with big buttons are really perfect to address the need of visually impaired people. Through this, they can use the phone even without the use of their glasses. Plus, they don’t have to experience the hassle brought by fumbling on the buttons. I think this happens everywhere, the embossed dot or a dash on 5. I never saw any cellphone(the one with a keypad) without it.

Awesome! Just when I’m picking up sign language, a phone in Braille has entered the market.

Existing phones have always catered for the visually impaired I thought. At least in Singapore, the phones usually had a sort of dot button on 5, so that people can feel their way through the key pads.

Perhaps not anymore since touchscreen has conquered the market these days.
