You need to do something for female bloggers getting more comments and followers than male bloggers.
Though I am a blogger, I don’t think that blogging should be made mandatory in our country. Every activity in this world has limitations. Let us not cross those limitations when we talk about blogging.
First, even if blogging does get mandatory, the content of the blog would be compromised. Amateur bloggers would resort to plagiarism just to keep their blog going, some others would have spam blogs while others would just rant and rant about their daily chores.
Let us aim for productivity through our blogs. Content will always remain King. Blogging can become a real waste of time, when one just raves and rants about random things, which doesn’t make sense to the blogger himself. Blogging is a specialized community of online writers. It is actually an enlightening activity, but can get a bore if it is made mandatory. I hope you are understanding what am trying to say, Lakshmi.
Blogging has not reached those heights in India that it can be made compulsory. Instead, the need of the hour now is to create awareness about blogging. There must be millions of people in India who haven’t heard or read blogs but Big B’s blog. In fact, many of my friends have no idea what a blog is. So, first, people need to know more about blogging. Also, politicians and leaders of our nation should be encouraged to blog. This will not only help connect the leaders to the masses, but will also urge others to blog.
What do you think about my perspective on this, Mr. Lakshmi?
kya re parth! Poore post ke humor ki vaat laga di!
Arre sorry, Saurabh… meri galti, oops! :silly:
Reservations? Even for blogging? Aren’t we supposed to move away from them?
I’ll second this law immediately!
* If a regular blogger does not post since more than a week, fellow bloggers to have a right to inquire into the matter.
That was a cool post
Loved the points raised by Laxmi and additions made Gyan
Let’s see when government in Australia will think of something similar
Cheers!!

Hey Rajan! non blogger parents and uninterested spouses were looking for your effigies to burn! Errr! do I provide them with it? :lashes:
one needs to be done for sure- bogging time in offices, and obviously where one can safely bitch about bosses
Professional bloggers earning money should share with all other bloggers.
Get Lalit Modi to float IBL.
Woah! That would be awesome…!
And here I thought blogging was a pasttime….now that it can be made professional…can I be paid ?
Till the mid-late 90′s the credo used to be Roti, kapdaa aur makaan
post 2000, its Roti, Kapda, makaan aur bandwidth.
Now, server space to host a blog needs to be added to that list.
What is more important is that bloggers should be seen as another form of the media and should not be persecuted by the high and mighty and the rich an powerful when views against them are expressed.
Great post, love the humour !
awesome!!! I second it!!!
