holi scraps3 150x150 GingerChai News letter March 1, 2010Dear Readers,

Holi greetings. It is the day when we allow ourselves to be splashed in myriad of colors and become an united colors of humanity. Wish you,  your family and friends a colorful, prosperous, vibrant days ahead!

At GingerChai, we too decided to have a vibrant, colorful cup for you, me and we. I am talking about our new template. We understand the need to continuously improvise and  give a rich experience to our readers and the new look is part of the process. We are experimenting and developing a better look and feel to the website to make your cup of chai a better sip! The previous template has its own drawbacks though I personally liked it. This template opens up a new set of usability and life to articles in the archive and I believe it is rich and visually appealing. There might be some drawbacks in this too and we are working on it. I assure you at GingerChai, we shall constantly keep updating ourselves to give you a wonderful browsing and reading experience. I hope you like this new template, do give us your feedback.

As you know we have launched Cafe GingerChai and we also announced FINISH THE STORY contest.  It was an experimental contest we tried. Many of our readers during interaction found it little tough, few found it little boring, few genuinely expressed their inability to finish a story when they are at ease to write a new story. The feedbacks were a lesson in itself for us that offered many insights. Neverthless, we received  12 entries , each one interesting in its own ways! Read the entries in Cafe GingerChai. Like you, even we are eager to see who wins our maiden contests. Good luck to all participants. Mid march, we will announce a zabardast contest that I guarantee will be more fun as well as a writer’s delight! Look out for it. We are also coming up with some new features for our Cafe. Wait for the announcement soon.

As I always say, GingerChai is a multi-author platform and our kitchen doors to brew are open to everyone with passion to writing. So if you readers wants to be part of our author panel, contact us through the contact us form. If any bloggers want to be a guest writer, do contact us – we are happy to have your flavour in our cup!

Good luck! Happy Blogging!

Let’s Sip Thoughts!

Hello and a very happy holi to all at Ginger Chai. :)
The new template is cool. Liked it. :)
I wanted to participate in Finish the Story contest, but I couldnt understand the last few lines, hence could’t carry it forward. :-?
But let me tell you that its a novel idea and I liked it a lot. Will read the 12 entries soon and will you publish the actual story too? I mean, it would be great to know the author’s actual thought in that story!
    Cheers :)
