DID Season 2 has been a big let down so far. It started very promisingly during the auditions and gave a feeling that Season 2 would be tougher than the maiden episode. But but but… something has gone terribly wrong. I am not sure if it has to do with the new production house that is making this season’s show. The choreographer trio who played a major role last season to make the show a big hit looks way out of line dance shoes. Though the show has some good contestants, the choreography is uninspiring and average. The show by large looks artificial and scripted. I just have a feeling that elimination of Dharmesh is just a pure gimmick aimed to create a “sensation” and bring back him in wild card. Anyways we are at yet another episode.
February 5
Vivek Oberai is the special guest of the day and promotes his forthcoming movie Prince
Nikkitasha & Bhavana from Remo kick start the show doing a hip-hop combined with classical for the song Soniya re. As usual an average performance, nothing great about it.
In-form Parvez teams up with Kruti for Om mangalam and grooves to a hip hop movement. Again an ok ok performance.
From Geeta’s gang Kishore and Binny dances for Sathiye in Indian contemporary style. The other two choreographers felt the choreography is bit repetitive. Some one tell both of them even their choreography is not much great to talk about this season.
More dramas, less dance.
Punit and Shashank from Remo’s team with Shashank dressed up as women dances for hero theme musin in contemporary and ballet style. Remo had taken a leaf out of mythology and tried creating it in a contemporary style but the performances where average. A normal pattern throughout the season!
The star performer so far in the season, Shakti teams up with Kunwar in an urban style dance to the song Bheegi bheegi. Kunwar has become Amar, numerology?

February 6
This is the last episode Grand master Mithun da will be eliminating the contestants. From next week it will be voting by SMS that will seal the fate of the participants and the eventual winner.
Geeta’s gang is left with Kishore and Binny , so they enter the nominations. Kishore danced brilliantly for the song Give me some sunshine Binny did an emotional act combined with good dancing for the song Jag suna suna liye
From Terrence team no guessing especially after yesterday’s performance of the day performance by Shakti and Kunwar, so it is Parvez and Kruti. Parvez danced for an old bollywood song but receives bad response from Remo and Geeta. Kruti did a powerful, moving performance for laga chunri
Last two to be nominated are Shashank and Bhavana from Remo’s team. Bhavana hip hopped with lots of energy and style. And the performance ends brilliantly with Shashank’s performance.
