Paa
A movie that has raised many eyebrows even before it’s release! Real life son (Abhishek Bachchan) plays the father role of real life dad (Amitabh Bachchan)! The unbelievable transformation of 63 year old AB into 13 year old kid “Auro” has triggered high expectation for this film. Will the movie deliver up to its expectation ? well, this Friday will decide it. Sure, audience will be driven to see AB Sr but that shall not be enough to sustain interest to make the movie a blockbuster. Balki, the director of the movie, has proven his mettle in his previous movie “Cheeni Kum”, so we can expect a good story line too in this movie.
My BO prediction: Definitely will be critically acclaimed but will it transfer into box office hit. Keep fingers crossed. I don’t expect the movie to become a flop at box office. BO result could be average or average hit.
Radio
Himesh Reshammiya plays the role of RJ Vivan. His professional life is a success at the cost of personal life. His marriage, inspite of love between the couple, hits rough weather due to lack of time invested into the relation and leading to divorce. Enter Shanaya ((Shenaz Treasuryvala) who captures the attention of HR. So ensues a triangle of love relation betweem HR, his divorced wife and the new love in his life. Eventually how the love triangle unfolds makes the story.
My BO prediction: Flop.

Rocket Singh – Salesman of the year.
Ranbir kapoor riding on the success of “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” is the salesman of the year. He looks fresh and adorable as Sardar in this Yash Raj films directed by Shmit Amin of “Chade De India” fame. The promos look great too.
My BO prediction: Yet another BO hit for Ranbir kapoor.

3 Idiots
Aamir Khan sheds his 6 packs to become an idiot. Intelligent actor that he is the movie has no reason to be idiotic to watch. The light hearted, fun filled movie releasing on Christmas may see a “dil chahta hai” Aamir again.
My BO prediction: Brand Aamir will carry the movie but may not be a super duper hit like Ghajini.

Dulha Mil Gaya
SRK & Sushmita Sen come together after “Main Hoon Na” The movie should be a typical Bollywood-SRK formula.
My BO prediction: Brand SRK can hardly flop. The question is will it be Hit or Super Hit.

Chance Pe Dance
Shahid Kapoor is all set to wow the crowd with hip hop moves and an eight pack abs. Life throws one chance to aspiring actor Shahid to prove his mettle, does he grabs it? is what the story all about. A simple one line story but the promos looks promising and Shahid seems to be on the right track carving his own style.
My BO prediction: Hit.

Salman khan aims a desi Mel Gibson starrer “braveheart”. The promos looks promising but when it comes to Salman Khan the BO results are unpredictable.
My BO Prediction: I would take a chance and guess it to be a hit.

Rann
RGV comes out of his “supernatural stories” and teams up with AB to capture the good,bad and ugly side of news media groups. The movie already courted controversy thank to the song lyrics “Jana gann mana rann hai” but will that be enough to succeed in BO?
My BO prediction: Flop. I have a feeling the movie may not strike the chord of the audience in spite of a seemingly good production.
Ishqiya
This movie produced by Vishal Bharadwaj could be a surprise package. No biggies to add star value, the movie has an unusual combination of Arshad warsi and Naseerudin Shah in the lead. A tale of romance between individuals caught in a web of crime, suspense, passion and deceit and some raw flavor to the movie could be a delight to watch provided the movie does manage to stay afloat till the movie goers knows about the movie.
My BO prediction: With not so big star cast, the movie shall be a average hit in its own right.

Prince—It’s Showtime
Of late nothing seems to be working for Vivek Oberai. The movie seems to be a pucca masala action flick but the question is will the audience get entertained?

Karan Johar brings together his favourite and people’s favourite jodi SRK and Kajol. With this proven hit combination one can only say Super hit or Super duper hit.

Ok this is an interesting combination for Bollywood. Ben Kingsley + Amitabh Bachchan. Though I am not sure much about the movie, what I read online about the story makes me wonder about its mass appeal. A genius, maths, calculations, probability – I doubt would appeal to an average moviegoer in India to ring the BO unless the director has done an exemplary story scripting.
My BO Prediction: A multiplex hit? May be Yes but a pan-Indian hit, I doubt.

Ajay Devgan needs a hit. What happens when you have an uninvited guest over staying at your home? This movie promises a laughter riot with Konkana sen pairing with AD. Will this comedy movie change his fortunes?
My BO Prediction: Above Average. A semi hit.

my take – Dulha Mil Gaya will be non-starter at BO and their are news that SRK is in guest role but publicity shows otherwise.
My Name is Khan – it will be a disappointment for Dharma productions after Kurbaan. While Kurbaan was well-publicised, MNIK has started its public campaign on negative note…!
Prince is an Abbas-Mustaan thriller from TIPS. So this stylish action film will give Vivek a hit…although it would be an exception for him….nothing good to his career.
I agree with Sharat in that-Dulha Mil Gaya will not do good business, but disagree with his prediction for MNIK. Again 3 Idiots will do good. Grrrr! Rajan. How could you think otherwise about Amir Khan?
