He reclined in the armchair. “I feel different…the new medication is making me better… It’s been going good ever since I got out of prison for the incident…”

“Why are you telling me all this?”

“Because you are my shrink…”

“No, I am not… I am still you…”

He looked around his jail cell.

The above 55 Fiction work is stretching the imagination about Dissociative identity disorder.

Sir Pumpkin Longshanks

The name may sound funny and weird and it spills over his character too. He prefers to keep his identity secret and we respect his choice. Thanks to a moment of “what an idea, sirji” we have him on-board our panel and don’t ask me more about the idea, it is our kitchen secret but his writings are here to enthrall you.

Interesting subject. Very much used in movies. It reminded me of of the movie Identity. And a little bit of Secret Window

Thats right.. Identity was a nice movie… But pray when was “Secret window”?

  3. mani padma on October 14, 2009 at 9:49 pm

Secret Window is not exactly a case of pure DID but had some kind of reference. Its the Jonny Depp movie I am speaking of. Again there was Machinist starring Christian Bale.In fact I was thinking about writing the review of that movie. It again has traces of DID

Hmm…interesting. At least you didn’t confuse DID with schizophrenia which I find most people do.
