OUR DESTINATION. HARSIL. A BEAUTIFULLY CONVENIENT STOPOVER EN ROUTE TO GANGOTRI. EASY TO MISS FROM THE HIGHWAY AS CAN BE SEEN…

THE ENTRY TO HARSIL.

THERES IS A GMVN HOTEL AND ALSO SOME PRIVATE ONES. YOU CAN BOOK YOUR ROOMS EASILY THROUGH THE NET. MANY WEBSITES AND FORUMS WILL PROVIDE YOU ALL THE NECESSARY AND BASIC INFORMATION YOU WANT.

HERE I AM JUST PRESENTING TO YOU THE ROUTE THROUGH MY EYES. AND OF COURSE HARSIL IS MUCH MORE THAN THESE.

I have been reading about Frederick ‘Pahari’ Wilson and your beautiful photographs of the area in which he lived bring his story to life. What a lucky man he was to live in such beautiful surroundings. I hope it stays unspoilt.
Thank you for publishing these wonderful photographs.
    Sincerely,
    Derek Hargrave
