Ingredients:
-
Rice
-
Channa dal
-
Urad dal
-
Onion
-
Curry leaves
-
Green chilly
-
Red chilly powder
-
Salt
-
Asafetida
Step 1: Take Rice, Channa dal and Urad dal in the ratio of 3:2:1 (If you want dosa to be crispy, add urad dal a little lesser than 1 ratio)
Step 2: Soak them in water separately for at least 5 hours.
Step 3: Grind the soaked ingredients separately. Smoothly grind the rice and urad dal. Grind the channa dal little coarsely.
Step 4: Mix the grinded ingredients.
Step 5: Chop onions, curry leaves and green chilly finely.
Step 6: Add the chopped ingredients into the batter and mix well.
Step 7: Add red chilly powder and salt as per taste. Also add little asafetida powder for flavor.
Step 8: If the batter is thick, add little water to make it to the consistency of dosa batter.
Step 9: Now the batter is ready to be made into dosa. Make the dal dosa in dosa tawa like regular dosa. Add ghee or oil.
Step 10: Delicious and healthy dal dosa is ready. It tastes good with coconut chutney, mint chutney, honey, and jam and even with simple sugar mixed with ghee.

Might you be having any recipes for Dosa which don’t involve grinding?! You know… something really instant that can use powders (Rice/Wheat/Corn etc…
?
