No am not writing the review of the SRK movie , have not watched it yet may be when the DVD releases will watch it . Ok back to business err the post , the Jodi am referring to here is this blogger ( yes , me ) and his better half !
My wife desires to join Shiamak Davar dance course. Last one year whenever the advertisement appear in newspaper about the new batch commencement the desire peaks but then for one reason or other was never able to enroll.
She wants me too to join . Now this is sticky wicket for me . Me dancing ? Gods must be crazy ! Am a bathroom singer but never even a bathroom dancer ! Few occassion , I have managed to shake my legs ( in a fit of rage , spirit , madness , exuberence , whatever the reason may be ) luckily no one had actually seen my ”earth shattering” dance mayhem thanks to the over crowded dance floor and the disco lights and each in their own high. Well , may be few did watched and must have enjoyed a comedy circus in motion ! So that is how my “happy feet” feats are !
May be I should gel my hair , wear gawdy striking dress la SRK in RNBDJ and try shaking my legs !!! but ouch , i always sport too short a hair to gel and wearing gawdy dress is not that strange to me coz I happily used to wear them before marriage . So , I don’t think SRK’s trick is going to work for me.
Anyways , we would in all propablity would miss this new batch classes also . Next advertisement will appear in the month of March. May be as Paulo Coelho says ” When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream “ , when my wife’s desires gets more stronger , the whole universe shall conspire to make me dance along with her in a dance class !
Oh by the way I remember a quote I read long back ” We’re fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance ” Right ? let me ready for a dance class in the near future !
just give it a shot… its a sweet thing to do! maybe u’ll love it. and for a better ref that is not as pakau as Rab ne… watch richard gere in shall we dance!
