The ” Tiger from chennai” Vishwanath Anand won the FIDE World chess championship title by beating Vladmir Kramnik in the German city of Bonn. The champion chess master retained his world title by winning the 11 match race for the title by scores 6.5 – 4.5 .
He and Kramnik will share the total prize fund of $1.94m.
